In the past 2 years, EQUIP has successfully managed 17 clinics in 2 counties in Liberia and currently supports 10 with the hopes of expanding to over 20.  These clinics provided integrated primary health care, offering the BPHS with a comprehensive community outreach component. EQUIP is responsible for paying of staff incentives and training all clinical staff, while managing clinic operations and focusing on capacity building of the staff. EQUIP focuses on the 5 Pillars of the Basic Package of Health Services: Maternal and Neonatal / Child Health, Family Planning / Reproductive Health/ GBV, Malaria, STI, HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis to ensure the highest quality of care.
